The problem or need
People in the Shahba area of As-Suwayda travel long distances to the governorate centre for emergency, surgery and maternity care.
Today
One health centre with no inpatient beds or operating theatre, and the nearest hospital 50 minutes away on average.

- A medical complex in Shahba with 60 beds, an emergency department, two operating theatres and a maternity unit.
